Once the materials—such as epoxy resins or polyurethanes—are combined in the static mixer, the curing process or chemical reaction begins. 2K electric valves are ideal for the precise dispensing of materials from 2K dual cartridges. Compared to pneumatically controlled valves, spindle motors enable a continuous and highly accurate piston operation. The folding mechanism or simple slide-in system allows for a quick and convenient cartridge change. Parameters such as dispensing volume and dispensing speed can be easily adjusted via the control system. The spindle motor simultaneously dispenses components A and B through guided linear rods. A retraction mechanism relaxes the material in the cartridge and effectively prevents dripping. The control system allows for easy adjustment of dispensing volume, dispensing speed, and other parameters. 2K potting compounds are generally low-viscosity and therefore very fluid to ensure optimal flow into gaps and cavities. However, this can be problematic, as the dispensing medium may continue to flow even after dosing stops. To prevent this, the mixer outlet is sealed with a shut-off valve featuring a small stopcock. This is the only component that comes into contact with the 2K material and can be easily replaced when needed. The electric valves can optionally be equipped with a heating system to facilitate and optimize the dispensing of materials. They are especially suitable for dispensing from 2K double cartridges, particularly for materials whose workability is enhanced by heating or which can only be dispensed when heated. Contact us

Optimise your dispensing system with our shut-off valve and mixing tube heater. Effectively prevent dripping of 2K material and ensure accurate dosing with constant viscosity. Shut-off valve To achieve a clean shut-off at the dosing end and to ensure reliable dosing regardless of ambient temperature, we have developed the shut-off valve and mixer heater. These solutions enable accurate and cost effective dispensing while ensuring material viscosity remains constant in different environments. Mixer heater 4385 Shut-off valve Prevents dripping of 2K material in the mixing tube after dosing In cases of low- to medium-viscosity and non-thixotropic media, simply retracting the pistons is often not sufficient to prevent dripping. This is where our shut-off valve comes into play. It seals the outlet of the mixing tube using a small shut-off tap, ensuring a clean dispensing process without unwanted dripping. The shut-off tap is controlled by a compact digital servo motor and automatically closes the mixing tube outlet as soon as dispensing is complete. Control is managed either via the Dispensmove dispensing machine or the 4480 control unit. Since the shut-off tap is a consumable part, it is integrated into the shut-off valve and replaced together with the mixing tube.
